Privacy Policy

Overview

Narrareach operates a web application and companion browser extension. We follow Chrome Web Store data policies and process the minimum amount of personal data necessary to run the service. We never sell personal information and we do not track browsing activity outside the destinations you expressly connect.

Data we process

The following data is collected directly from you or generated while using Narrareach:

• Account details – name, email address, and authentication data managed by Clerk.
• Draft content – articles you create or import in the Narrareach editor.
• Connected platform tokens – encrypted credentials that allow you to publish to Medium, Substack, Ghost, Beehiiv, LinkedIn, Hashnode, and Dev.to.
• Usage diagnostics – aggregate event data that helps us monitor reliability and improve the product.

Browser extension data

The Narrareach extension runs only on narrareach.com and the publishing destinations you connect. In line with Chrome Web Store policy, the extension:

• Detects whether the extension is installed so the web app can hide the installation prompt.
• Publishes content you explicitly trigger from Narrareach to a destination you connected.
• Reads page structure on supported platforms solely to map your draft to the correct editor fields.
• Does not collect your browsing history, does not monitor other tabs, and does not transmit data to third parties.

How we use the data

We use stored tokens to authenticate with the platforms you choose, render previews, execute publish actions, and power optional AI-assisted tagging. Content and platform credentials remain encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell or share personal data with advertisers.

Retention & deletion

Drafts and platform credentials are stored until you delete them or close your account. You can request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@narrareach.com. We remove your account, drafts, and stored tokens within 14 days and confirm the deletion once complete.

Your controls

• Disconnect any platform at any time from the Narrareach dashboard.
• Use local drafts only—autosaves remain in your browser until you publish.
• Disable analytics collection by contacting privacy@narrareach.com.
