The Notion connection uses authorization rather than asking for a public page URL. After connecting the workspace, the writer shares the pages or parent pages that Narrareach should be allowed to access. Pages outside that permission remain unavailable to the integration.

This follows Notion's integration model: an internal or public integration can read content only after it has the required capabilities and page access. Narrareach stores the connected identity for the user and lets the connection be removed from settings.

If a page does not appear, open it in Notion, add Narrareach through the page connection controls, then refresh the importer. The importer should not be treated as permission to crawl the entire workspace.

The preview converts supported headings, paragraphs, lists, quotes, links, and images into the Narrareach article model. Each selected page remains identified as a Notion source, which helps the writer understand where the draft came from.

Review the preview for complex databases, embeds, synced blocks, columns, equations, or third-party elements that do not have a direct equivalent in the destination editor. The importer should preserve useful article meaning, not pretend every Notion layout is portable.

Prepare the imported draft for Substack

SEO metadata does not need to rewrite the visible story. It can provide a search-focused title, description, and slug where supported while the reader-facing headline and article remain unchanged. This is useful when the human title is compelling but not explicit about the query the article answers.

The same draft can also enter a publish to Medium and Substack workflow when the writer owns both destinations. Review canonical and destination settings rather than assuming that identical publication behavior is appropriate everywhere.
