Blog import
Repurpose your blog
Bring in the articles already on your blog, turn any of them into posts and carousels, and let Narrareach cross-post the ones you publish next.
How it works
Two ways to bring in your blog
Past articles and new articles take different paths, so your back catalog is never republished without you choosing it.
Past articles: Import articles
Brings in the articles already on your blog so you can repurpose any of them. Nothing is published until you choose to.
New articles: Blog automation
Watches your blog and cross-posts each article you publish after setup to Medium, Substack, or LinkedIn on your schedule.
Step 1
Import past articles
Open Articles and choose Import articles. On the Links tab, paste your blog’s address or feed, for example yourblog.com/rss.xml, and choose Preview. Select the articles you want, choose Use as source or Edit and publish, and import them. If your blog is already connected under Settings → Blog automation, choose Import past articles on it and your feed is filled in for you.
One import reads up to 50 articles from a feed. To bring in an older article your feed no longer lists, paste the article’s own link.
Step 2
Create posts from an article
Open an imported article in Articles and choose Generate. Pick what you want to make, review it, then schedule it to your connected accounts.
- Notes: Short posts for Substack, LinkedIn, X, Bluesky, Threads, and Facebook, written from the article.
- Carousels: Instagram / TikTok carousels and LinkedIn carousels that walk through the article’s main points.
- Images: Instagram images and Pinterest Pins built from the article.
- The article itself: Import as Edit and publish, then publish or schedule the full article to Medium, Substack, or LinkedIn.
Which platforms you can post to depends on your plan and the accounts you have connected under Settings → Platform connections.
Step 3
Automate new articles
Open Settings → Blog automation, paste your blog’s address, and choose Detect. Pick where new articles go (Medium, Substack, or LinkedIn) and when: shortly after detection, or on a cadence you set. Turn on Also pull notes from each article to share each new article as Notes on the platforms you choose.
Your blog card shows how many articles were imported and lists recent ones. Posts that were already on your blog when you connected are marked Earlier post and are not republished.
Common questions
Before you ask
Why did Blog automation skip the articles already on my blog?
Blog automation only cross-posts articles you publish after you connect your blog, so it never republishes your back catalog by surprise. To repurpose earlier articles, use Import past articles on your connected blog, or Articles → Import articles.
How many past articles can I import at once?
One import reads up to 50 articles from your blog’s feed. Many blogs only list their most recent posts in the feed. If an older article is missing, paste its page link instead, up to 10 links at a time.
What is the difference between Use as source and Edit and publish?
Use as source keeps the article in your library as material to create posts from. Edit and publish turns it into a draft you can edit and publish as a full article. You can create posts from either.
Will importing post anything?
No. Importing only adds articles to Narrareach. Nothing goes out until you schedule or publish it.
I imported the same feed twice. Will I get duplicates?
No. The preview marks articles you already imported, and they are skipped.
Where do I find my blog’s feed address?
You usually do not need it: paste your blog’s homepage and Narrareach finds the feed. If it cannot, try your address followed by /rss.xml or /feed, for example yourblog.com/rss.xml.
